Bereavement
I am a very experienced Bereavement counsellor. When someone close to you dies you may experience a deep sense of loss leading to feelings of sadness, Anger, guilt, Anxiety, Depression and other related feelings. It is also common to have difficulties with eating, sleeping, poor concentration, headaches and other physical symptoms. These emotions and physical symptoms can sometimes be overwhelming and make everyday living difficult. These symptoms are a normal reaction to grief however if they persist for a time it can be helpful to talk things over with someone outside your family or social circle.

These have been taken from cards and emails my clients have sent me over the years, I have their permission to share them with you.

"What an amazing person you are you have seen me through the most difficult time of my life. Thankyou so much."

"Im glad I found the right person to talk to. Thankyou for your expertise in helping me on the way to recovery. I thought I'd never feel happy again."

"You have helped me to change my life, thankyou."

"I am not really sure how to thankyou as any words I use will not express how you helped me. Thankyou for listening."

A client sent this to me after her first counselling session with me. "Last night was really helpful, and I came away feeling like a weight had been lifted, thanks."
